William “Bill” Irwin has been practicing law in Brownsville since 2011. He represents individuals and businesses in a broad range of transactional and litigation matters, with primary emphasis on local government law, real estate law, probate and guardianship, and business law.
Bill is a licensed escrow officer and provides real estate closing services through the firm’s fee attorney relationship with Edwards Abstract and Title Company.
A Brownsville native, Bill graduated from St. Joseph Academy before attending The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned honors and special honors in Government. He was named a William Jennings Bryan Scholar for an outstanding undergraduate thesis.
Bill earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2011, where he served as a senior member of the Civil Legal Clinic’s Low-Income Housing Division.

David has more than ten years of experience representing individuals, businesses, and public entities in civil litigation and transactional matters, including affordable housing, transportation, real estate, condemnation, employment law, and business law.
He has appeared before state and federal courts throughout Texas, including the Thirteenth Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
David currently serves as general counsel for the Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville and the Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority.

Daniel Rentfro Jr. has nearly thirty years of experience representing individuals, businesses, and public entities in complex civil matters, including real estate and construction disputes, insurance claims, and employer-employee relations.
He serves as general or special counsel to numerous public entities in the Lower Rio Grande Valley and is a trained mediator offering services in commercial, real estate, family, and probate matters.
Mr. Rentfro began his career as a briefing attorney for the Texas Supreme Court before returning to the Rio Grande Valley to join the Rentfro firm in 1984.
